Good Morning Vietnam! We traveled half of your beautiful country in two weeks and left with great memories. Vietnam is loud, Vietnam is food, Vietnam is nature and Vietnam is culture.
It’s a country filled densely with all the above-mentioned attributes. Everyone can get lucky in Vietnam and it makes for a great country to visit. We started in the mighty Ho Chi Minh City. A chaotic and impressive city with the famous Chi-Chi Tunnels nearby. Have a warm Pho for breakfast, tie your shoes, and get ready for the faces of Vietnam!
From Ho Chi Minh City we moved on to Hue. The old emperors‘ city is famous for its central palace area. You can easily spend a day in it and dive into the old Vietnamese culture and history.
Aday trip along the coast lies Hoi an. We made this tour on a motorbike guided by the fantastic Le Family Riders. And boy, this trip is worth the money! You will spend all day in the fantastic landscape of the Hai Van Pass. It’s packed with tons of spots to stop, information, and great food. Please say Hello to them and enjoy your ride!
Hoi An is a beautiful city with its old road and traditional houses. But be prepared for tourist busses. In the evening it becomes quieter and laid back. That’s the time when boats with candles fill the Thu Bon river and bath the city in beautiful soft light. And it’s a city of street food. Enjoy some of the best Vietnamese food on the eastern part of the small island across the river.
Via a short stopover in Qui Nhon, a laid back paradise on the western coast, we arrived in the fantastic Mekong Delta. World-famous for its floating markets. Leavin early in the morning you will experience great food and some fantastic scenery along the Mekong River. Fresh coffee on the river? No Problem, they will come to your boat.
